Detailed description of Table Mountain Golf Club
Table Mountain Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Oroville, California.
Table Mountain Golf Club opened for play in 1950. The course was designed by Louis Bertolone.
The terrain is flat and easy to walk. The fast greens are well maintained, and the wide fairways provide generous landing areas. Water hazards come into play on a few holes.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,500 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,000 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 506 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 137 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 418 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Table Mountain is # 12, the 137 yard par-3. The signature hole is #16, a 167 yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a green protected by water hazards on both sides of the fairway.

This course just went through a major renovation. Newly remodeled clubhouse/pro shop. Extensive new landscaping. Nines have been reversed. Hazards have been redesigned. If you haven't played here since January 2012, it is not the same place. This is a public course, but it has the best greens in the area, including the private courses. All this with no increase in green fees. Best golf deal around.
